Cretton recently took to Instagram to reveal that screenwriter Callaham has to get a Morris tattoo after a "two-year bet." When the pair came up with the idea to put the six-legged creature in Shang-Chi, they made a deal that if he wasn't cut from the final edit, Callaham “would add him to his personal tattoo collection." Now, the MCU writer has made good on his promise.

On top of Morris proving essential to the progression of Shang-Chi’s plot, the pairing of him and Trevor in the second half of the film provided some great comic relief. In fact, it’s almost impossible to imagine a version of its final act without them. Given the film’s success and the popularity of its subject, it’s safe to say Callaham’s latest tattoo won’t be a regrettable one. In addition to Shang-Chi’s impressive box office run, the film earned the highest-rated audience score of any MCU project on Rotten Tomatoes, which has now been tied by No Way Home.
